Product description

The Cabbage Sauce Boat brings Bordallo Pinheiro’s detailed cabbage-leaf modeling to a practical serving piece for gravy, sauces, dressings, cream, and other table accompaniments. Its elongated 9.8-inch form incorporates a pouring lip at one end and a curved handle at the other, with the entire surface modeled after overlapping cabbage leaves.

Deep veins, folded edges, and changes in the green glaze emphasize the shape of the leaves across the earthenware body. With a 400 ml capacity, the sauce boat is large enough for shared meals without becoming cumbersome on a crowded table.

Use it alongside plates and serving pieces from the Cabbage collection or as a single characterful addition to otherwise simple dinnerware. It is made in Portugal from earthenware and is suitable for both microwave and dishwasher use. Bordallo Pinheiro does not recommend oven use or exposure to abrupt temperature changes.
