Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Charger Plate

Product description

The Cabbage Charger Plate is one of the largest individual plates in Bordallo Pinheiro’s Cabbage collection. At 12 inches across, it is designed to sit beneath a dinner plate as part of a layered place setting, but its generous surface also gives the cabbage-leaf pattern room to make a strong visual impact on its own.

Molded from earthenware, the plate reproduces overlapping cabbage leaves with deeply defined veins, curled edges, and an irregular outer rim. The hand-applied color settles differently across the raised and recessed areas, emphasizing the structure of the leaves.

Choose Green for the familiar cabbage coloring, Cream for a lighter setting that brings greater attention to the molded relief, or Pink for a softer variation on the collection. All three can be combined with dinner plates, fruit plates, bowls, platters, pitchers, and other pieces from Bordallo Pinheiro’s Cabbage tableware.

Made in Portugal, the Charger Plate is dishwasher and microwave safe. Bordallo Pinheiro does not recommend oven use and advises against abrupt temperature changes.
