Description
The Cabbage Tea Cup & Saucer brings Bordallo Pinheiro’s detailed cabbage-leaf modeling to a two-piece tea set. The cup is shaped with overlapping leaves and a curved handle, while the matching saucer extends the same veined leaf texture across its broad surface.
Made from green-glazed earthenware, the raised veins, folds, and irregular edges give both pieces the characteristic surface of the Cabbage collection. The saucer measures approximately 6.1 inches across, giving the cup a generous base with room for a teaspoon or small accompaniment.
Use the set for tea, infusions, or coffee, either on its own or alongside the plates, teapot, pitcher, serving pieces, and other tableware in the Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage collection.
Made in Portugal, the cup and saucer are suitable for microwave and dishwasher use. Bordallo Pinheiro does not recommend oven use and advises against abrupt temperature changes.
