The Cabbage Leaf Platter takes the shape of a single oversized cabbage leaf, complete with a thick central rib, branching veins, curled edges, and layers of green glaze that settle into the ceramic relief. It is one of the most straightforward—and useful—pieces in Bordallo Pinheiro’s long-running Cabbage collection.

Made in Portugal from earthenware, the platter comes in two sizes. The Medium measures 9.8 inches long and works well for olives, sliced tomatoes, small appetizers, pastries, or a side dish for two. The Large, at 11 inches long, gives you more room for cheeses, grilled vegetables, fruit, sandwiches, or a shared starter.

The irregular leaf shape also makes the pieces useful beyond formal serving. Use one for lemons beside the bar, snacks on a coffee table, or as part of a mixed table setting with simpler white dishes.

Both sizes are hand-painted in green and dishwasher safe. They can also be used in the microwave for reheating. Avoid conventional oven use and sudden temperature changes.
