Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Concave Leaf Platter

Product description

The Cabbage Concave Leaf Platter is a deep serving piece from Bordallo Pinheiro’s Cabbage collection. Shaped as a single cabbage leaf, it reproduces the plant’s central rib, branching veins, irregular perimeter, and naturally folded surface in glazed earthenware.

Unlike the flatter leaf platters in the collection, this version curves inward to create a generous 1.22-liter capacity. At just over 10 inches long, it works well for salads, roasted vegetables, fruit, pasta, appetizers, and shared side dishes without occupying the space of a conventional large serving bowl.

The rich green glaze settles into the molded surface, making the veins and folds of the leaf particularly visible. Pair it with plates, bowls, and larger serving pieces from the Cabbage collection or use it on its own as a distinctive serving dish.

Made in Portugal from earthenware, the Concave Leaf Platter is microwave and dishwasher safe. Bordallo Pinheiro does not recommend oven use or exposure to sudden temperature changes.
