Description

The Cabbage Fruit Bowl takes the shape of overlapping cabbage leaves, with a broad, shallow profile that shows off the veins, folds, and irregular edges of the original vegetable. Layers of green glaze settle into the molded surface, bringing out the depth of the earthenware relief.

At 14.6 inches across, it offers considerably more room than a conventional tabletop bowl. Fill it with apples, pears, citrus, or tomatoes, use it for bread and pastries at brunch, or bring it to the table for a large arrangement of vegetables and shared dishes. Its 2.4-inch height keeps the contents visible rather than buried inside a deep bowl.

Made in Portugal from earthenware, the Cabbage Fruit Bowl is large enough to remain useful as a centerpiece even when empty.
