Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Fruit and Salad Plate

The Cabbage Fruit & Salad Plate is one of the smaller table plates in Bordallo Pinheiro’s Cabbage collection. Measuring 7.5 inches across, it works well for salads, fruit, desserts, appetizers, bread, or smaller portions alongside the larger dinner plates in the collection.

The earthenware plate reproduces the layered shape and pronounced veins of a cabbage leaf, with an irregular rim that follows the plant rather than a conventional circular plate profile. Hand-painted color brings out the raised texture and gives the surface variations in tone.

Choose Green for the familiar deep cabbage coloring or Cream for a lighter version that makes the molded leaf structure especially visible. Both can be mixed with larger plates, bowls, platters, and serving pieces from the Cabbage collection.

Made in Portugal, the plate is suitable for everyday table use and can go in the dishwasher and microwave. Bordallo Pinheiro does not recommend oven use or exposure to abrupt temperature changes.
