Created with performance in mind, this knife has a perfected design that keeps things simple and efficient. A sharp steel blade made from reclaimed railroad track steel cuts with ease. Hammered by hand a thousand times, the edge is extremely sharp and durable. Made from air-dried oak or chestnut wood, the rounded handle is lightweight, sturdy and water-resistant. Similarly to other knives from the same collection, this large paring knife features Master Shin In-Young’s signature X mark and traditional steel band that connects the blade and handle. Handcrafted with care, this knife will be a part of your kitchen for a lifetime. Perfect if you want to zest citrus fruit, peel fruit and vegetables, devein shrimp, or chop garlic.
