Description
The Kaweco Liliput Copper Fountain Pen compresses a refillable fountain pen into a cylindrical body measuring less than four inches when closed. Remove the threaded cap and screw it onto the rear of the barrel to extend the pen to approximately five inches for writing.
The copper body begins with a brighter surface but changes as soon as it is handled. Fingerprints, darker areas, fine scratches, and polished sections gradually form an individual patina. The final appearance depends on how the pen is carried and used, so no two examples will age in exactly the same way.
At 25.3 grams, the Copper Liliput has a noticeable metal weight despite its narrow 9.9 mm diameter. It fits easily into a small pen case, notebook pouch, jacket pocket, or compact travel kit, while the posted cap provides the additional length needed for regular writing.
Choose from five stainless steel nib sizes: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, or Extra Broad. Kaweco recommends Medium for customers who are uncertain where to begin. The threaded 060 nib unit can be replaced later, allowing the writing width or nib finish to be changed without replacing the complete pen.
The Liliput accepts short international ink cartridges and comes with one blue cartridge. A Kaweco Mini Converter Foldable, sold separately, can be added for filling the pen from a bottle of fountain pen ink. Do not fill the copper barrel directly with ink, and wipe away spills promptly.
