Description
The Kaweco Liliput Brass Fountain Pen compresses a refillable fountain pen into a cylindrical body measuring less than four inches when closed. Remove the threaded cap and screw it onto the rear of the barrel to extend the pen to approximately five inches for writing.
The body is made from untreated, lead-free German Eco brass. Daily handling gradually darkens the surface and introduces fingerprints, scratches, tonal changes, and polished areas. The patina will develop differently on every pen, recording how it has been carried and used.
At 23.7 grams, the Brass Liliput has a noticeable metal feel while remaining significantly slimmer than the Brass Sport. Its 9.9 mm diameter fits easily into a small pen case, notebook pouch, jacket pocket, or compact travel kit.
Choose from five German-made stainless steel nib sizes, ranging from Extra Fine to Extra Broad. Kaweco recommends Medium for customers who are unsure where to begin. The threaded 060 nib unit can also be replaced later, allowing the writing width or nib finish to be changed without replacing the complete pen.
The Liliput accepts short international ink cartridges and comes with one Royal Blue cartridge. A Kaweco Mini Converter Foldable can be added separately for filling the pen from a bottle of fountain pen ink.
