Winner of the Good Design Award 2022, the Chanoma teapot was created by Koji Takahashi with soft curves that offer a modern interpretation on traditional kyusu teapots. Handmade from clay with a non-glazed surface, this teapot preserves heat and gives tea leaves a mellower flavor.
Inside the teapot, a large clay strainer allows you to easily pour tea without any loose leaves. A large handle on one side offers a comfortable, ergonomic grip while adding a striking accent to the design. Finished with a beautiful ivory hue, this Koizumi Chanoma Teapot is as elegant as it is practical. The teapot comes in different sizes. Other colors are also available, along with matching tea cups.
