A celebration of the Japanese tea serving ceremony, the Chanoma collection reimagines the traditional kyusu teapots with a modern flavor. Designed by Koji Takahashi for Koizumi, the award-winning Chanoma series comprises teapots and tea cups that marry their minimalist aesthetics with the enduring charm of handmade pottery. Crafted by hand in Tokoname, Japan, every Chanoma product is made from locally sourced clay. The teapots reference kyusu designs with large side handles and a smaller spout, while the cups are elegantly simple and feature subtle indentations for a comfortable grip. The colors enhance the designs in beautiful ways, with options ranging from terracotta and ivory to black. The Chanoma collection has received the Good Design Award 2022.
