Description

A refined companion to the Chanoma teapots, the elegant Chanoma tea cups showcase the best of Japanese design and traditional craftsmanship. Like the teapots from the same collection, each tea cup is skillfully made by hand from Takoname clay and features a non-glazed, porous surface. The curved shape with a subtle indentation offers a great grip while also enhancing the tea drinking ritual. Every tea cup has a capacity of 100ml or 3.4 fl oz, making it perfect for daily tea serving rituals – whether you’re enjoying a cup on your own or with friends. Designed by Koji Takahashi for Koizumi & Co. Ltd, the Koizumi Chanoma tea cups and teapots have received the Good Design Award 2022. These tea cups come in Terracotta, Ivory and Black versions that match the colors of the teapots.
