The Chanoma teapots are made from Tokoname clay, giving a nod to Japan’s tea culture and pottery traditions. Designed by Koji Takahashi, this teapot has a distinctive silhouette with a tapered side handle that provides the perfect grip, and a smaller spout that ensures a smooth pour.
Inside, the handmade strainer keeps tea leaves from reaching your tea cup. Additionally, the large opening makes both filling the teapot and cleaning it by hand a breeze. This version of the Chanoma teapot features a rich terracotta color. Like other teapots from this series, this one comes in small, medium and large sizes that have a capacity of 5.1 fl oz / 150ml, 10.8 fl oz / 320ml, and 18.3 fl oz / 540ml, respectively.
