Description
The Carte Blanche Teapot is the largest piece in Annebet Philips’ coffee and tea group for Serax. It holds 1 liter, enough for several cups, but the shape refuses the smooth symmetry of a standard porcelain teapot.
The handle bends sharply. The body looks cut and folded rather than molded into a soft oval. A black hand-painted line runs along the edges, making the white porcelain look closer to a three-dimensional sketch than a conventional tea-service piece.
That makes the teapot useful in two ways. It works as the central serving piece with the Carte Blanche tea cups, milk jug, espresso cups, and plates, but it can also stand on its own with plain white tableware, wood trays, linen, or glass. The shape is strong enough to carry the table without needing the entire collection around it.
The 1 liter capacity suits tea, herbal infusions, hot water service, or a larger pour for breakfast and dessert. The porcelain body is dishwasher safe and microwave safe. The black detailing is hand-finished, so small differences in line, edge, and surface are expected.
