Annebet Philips

Annebet Philips is a Dutch product and furniture designer based in Amsterdam. After graduating cum laude with an MSc in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology, she founded Studio Annebet Philips in 2013, creating work that brings together technical clarity, humor, and a strong graphic sensibility. Her designs often begin with familiar, archetypal forms, which she reinterprets through bold shapes, clear lines, and hand-drawn details. The result is a playful, almost cartoon-like design language that makes everyday objects feel fresh, surprising, and full of character. Working across furniture, lighting, tableware, collectible objects, and brand collaborations, Philips has designed for companies including Seletti, Serax, Mogg, Tonone, and Tommy Hilfiger. Projects like Cut & Paste for Seletti and Carte Blanche for Serax show her ability to turn quick sketches, cardboard models, and humble prototypes into refined pieces that remain spontaneous, functional, and unmistakably hers.
