The Carte Blanche Tea Cup is the larger handled cup in Annebet Philips’ porcelain coffee and tea collection for Serax. It holds 300 ml, so it works for tea, herbal infusions, coffee, hot chocolate, or any drink that needs more room than an espresso or cappuccino cup.
The shape is deliberately uneven. The handle is angular, the rim is irregular, and the black hand-painted line follows the edge instead of behaving like standard decoration. Philips worked from cardboard models for the collection; on this cup, that shows up as a form that feels cut, folded, and then fixed in porcelain.
This is the most mug-like piece in the Carte Blanche group, which also makes it one of the easiest to use daily. Pair it with the matching teapot and milk jug, or bring it into a mixed table setting when you want one piece with a sharper graphic outline. The finish is hand-painted, so small differences in the black line and surface detail are expected. The cup is dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
