Description
The Serax Carte Blanche Dessert Plate is a white porcelain plate designed by Annebet Philips. Philips first cut the shapes for the collection in cardboard, then carried that rough model-making language into the finished porcelain: uneven edges, shallow folds, and black lines painted by hand.
At 18.5 cm wide, the plate works for cake, fruit, bread, small appetizers, cookies, or a simple dessert. It is smaller than the Carte Blanche breakfast plate, so it pairs well with the collection’s cups, saucers, and coffee pieces.
Small differences in the hand-painted black lines are part of the piece. Use it alone as a graphic small plate, or combine it with the Carte Blanche breakfast plates, bowls, cups, teapot, egg cup, and salt and pepper set.
