Description

The Kaweco Brass Sport Mechanical Pencil combines the compact proportions of the Sport series with the noticeable weight of brass. At just over four inches long, it fits easily into a pocket, pencil case, notebook pouch, or small desk organizer.

A push button advances the 0.7 mm graphite lead, eliminating the need for sharpening. The lead size works well for handwriting, annotations, diagrams, and sketching, while the broad faceted body provides a substantial grip and helps protect the narrow lead inside the mechanism.

At 37.9 grams, the pencil is intentionally heavy for its size. The brass supplies enough weight to rest against the paper without requiring excessive downward pressure. Customers who prefer very light pencils should take the weight into account before ordering.

The untreated brass changes with handling. Fingerprints, darker areas, scratches, and polished sections gradually form an individual patina across the body. These changes are expected and will differ according to how the pencil is used and stored.

Silver-tone details include the Kaweco logo cap and push mechanism. The pencil accepts standard 0.7 mm mechanical pencil leads; Kaweco offers HB graphite refills in packs of 12. An optional Sport clip can be added separately for attachment to a pocket or notebook.
