Description
A rounded body, a sloping back, and a pointed beak give Aves its compact outline. Dutch architect and artist Co Derr designed this solid brass bird figurine in three different shapes, now produced by Danish design company Architectmade. The polished surfaces catch the colors of nearby objects, with highlights moving across the curved sides as you change your viewing angle.
Small is low and rounded, while the larger birds have taller, more pronounced profiles. All three are miniature: even Large stands only about two and a half inches high. Place one on a stack of books or arrange a group on a bedside table, turning the whole figures to face one another. Their different proportions become especially clear when displayed together.
The brass is treated to protect against oxidation. Choose Small, Medium, or Large individually, or select the Trio for one of each. A single bird makes a compact gift for a design enthusiast; the Trio brings the complete group together.
