Description
The FJ Fruit Bowl has a rim that rises and dips around the opening, giving it a different outline from each side. Designed in 1951 by Finn Juhl, the Danish architect and furniture designer, this teak wood fruit bowl is produced by Architectmade. Each bowl is made from a single piece of wood, with the grain visible across its rounded exterior and open interior.
Three versions offer different proportions. The small bowl takes up little space on a side table and can also hold jewelry on a dresser. The footed version rests on small wooden feet, while the large bowl provides a broad surface for displaying fruit on a dining table or kitchen island. Their shapes differ as well as their dimensions, so choose by profile as much as size. The small bowl has a clear teak-oil finish; the footed and large versions are made to order. All are sold individually.
