Description
The Kaweco Brass Sport Fountain Pen gives the compact Sport format a substantial brass body. Closed, the pen measures only 4.2 inches long. Placing the screw-on cap on the back extends it to approximately 5 inches for writing.
At 41.6 grams, this is an intentionally heavy pocket pen. The weight gives it a noticeably different feel from plastic and aluminum Sport models and reduces the amount of downward pressure needed while writing. Customers who strongly prefer lightweight pens should take the weight into account before ordering.
The brass surface will change through use. Handling gradually darkens the metal and introduces marks, tonal variation, and polished areas where the pen is held most often. This natural patina is expected and will make each pen increasingly individual over time; it should not be treated as a finish defect.
Silver-tone details include the Kaweco logo cap and stainless steel nib. Choose from Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, or Extra Broad. Kaweco recommends Medium for customers who are new to fountain pens, while Extra Fine suits compact handwriting and Extra Broad produces the widest standard line. The threaded 060 nib unit can be replaced later without changing the complete pen.
