Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘The Birds’, Edinburgh-based artist Max Machen created a charming illustration that offers a French take on the iconic movie. Named Des Oiseaux, this Richard Brendon mug boasts blue birds that “fly” across the fine bone china. A hand-painted purple rim and the name of the mug added to the handle complete this playful design. Fantastic as a gift, this wonderfully illustrated mug is also perfect for everyday use, whether you want to fill it with strong coffee or mellow tea. Similarly to other mugs from Richard Brendon’s British Bone China collection, this product is made by hand in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
