Description
The M68 Pendant Lamp hangs a broad aluminum shade from a nearly invisible steel suspension wire, leaving its curved profile to do most of the work. Designed by Miguel Milá in 1962, the form takes its cue from the rounded line of a woman’s shoulders.
At 18.1 inches in diameter, M68 works particularly well above a dining table, breakfast table, kitchen island, or smaller conference table. The opaque bell-shaped shade provides a large internal surface for reflecting light downward rather than allowing the bulb to glare directly into the room.
Choose Matte White for a softer, uniform finish; Polished Aluminum for the most reflective version; Glossy Red with a polished aluminum interior; or Matte Black with the same reflective metal interior. Each version includes a coordinated metal canopy and the junction-box adapter required for the US installation.
The US version uses an E26 socket. The bulb is not included; Santa & Cole currently recommends an 11W LED. Designed for dry indoor locations only.
