Description
The Jari Ellipse Dining Table is a solid oak dining table by OEO Studio for Brdr. Krüger. Originally developed for INUA restaurant in Tokyo, the table brings the Jari collection’s organic geometry into a large dining format for homes, hospitality interiors, and meeting spaces.
The tabletop is a subtle asymmetric ellipse, measuring 94.5″ long and 41.3″ deep. Its softened ends shift visual weight toward the center, making the table feel more open than a strict rectangle while still offering generous surface area for dining. The deep rounded edge gives the solid top a softer profile, and the tapered legs keep the table from looking heavy despite its size.
The name Jari comes from the Japanese word for pebbles, a reference to smooth stones shaped over time by water. The connection is visible in the table’s low-tension shape: rounded, tactile, and more relaxed than standard oval dining tables, but still precise enough for formal interiors.
Choose Oiled Oak for a lighter Danish wood tone with visible grain, or Oiled Fumed Oak for a darker, warmer finish. Both versions are made to order in Denmark and work well with dining chairs in wood, leather, or upholstered finishes.
