Description
The Bølling Tray Table in Black Lacquered Oak is Hans Bølling’s 1963 Danish rolling tray table in its most graphic frame finish. Made to order by Brdr. Krüger in Denmark, the table combines a folding wooden H-frame, rolling casters, and two loose trays that can be lifted out for serving or kept in place as a two-tier side table.
The black lacquered oak frame gives the table a sharper outline than the natural wood versions. It works especially well with the Base / black + white tray set, but it also makes stronger color pairings possible: blue, green, red, cognac, cream, beige, and gray all read clearly against the dark frame.
Two sizes are available. Small / 50 cm works well as a bedside table, compact side table, tea trolley, or mobile surface beside a lounge chair. Large / 60 cm gives more surface area for bottles, glassware, books, ceramics, or daily-use objects, making it a stronger choice for a bar cart, sofa-side table, or larger serving piece.
The tray sets are the functional center of the design. Laminate trays are reversible, with a different color on each side, allowing the table to shift quickly from neutral to more expressive. The Wood veneer tray option gives the black lacquered frame a calmer and more material-focused configuration.
Use it as a serving trolley, bar cart, side table, bedside table, or flexible living-room piece. The table ships flat-packed and is made to order. Customers should confirm the selected size, tray set, lead time, cancellation terms, and return policy before ordering.
