Description
The Jari Dining Chair is a Danish dining chair by OEO Studio for Brdr. Krüger. Originally developed for INUA restaurant in Tokyo, it brings the Jari collection’s soft, pebble-inspired forms into a chair designed for long meals and refined dining rooms.
The defining feature is the sculpted backrest. Made from solid oak, it curves around the sitter in one continuous shape, with rounded edges and smooth joinery that avoid the hard break between arm, back, and frame found in many dining chairs. Slender turned legs keep the chair visually light, while the upholstered seat gives it the comfort needed for dinner, conversation, and hospitality use.
The chair comes in two frame finishes. Oiled Oak gives the piece a lighter Danish wood tone with visible grain. Oiled Fumed Oak has a deeper, warmer finish that pairs well with stone, darker tables, and richer interiors. Upholstery options include Kvadrat Moss Cream 0019 fabric and five semi-aniline leather choices from the Spectrum and Savanne ranges. Oyster and Almond are lighter leather options. Brandy and Cinnamon bring warmer brown tones. Savanne Black creates the strongest contrast against the oak frame.
Jari works with the matching Jari Round and Ellipse Dining Tables, but it can also be used around other wood, stone, or glass dining tables. It is made to order in Denmark. Because the frame finish and upholstery change the character of the chair significantly, customers should review finish images or request swatches before ordering.
