Description
The Filigrana Portable Lantern is a rechargeable glass table lamp you can carry from the bedside to the dinner table. Designed by Sebastian Wrong, a British designer and co-founder of furniture and lighting brand Established & Sons, it pairs a rounded glass body with brass fittings and a woven loop handle. Cordless operation makes it useful on shelves, side tables, and dining tables where a trailing cable would get in the way.
The stripes are made from colored glass worked into the shade, rather than a pattern printed onto its surface. This glassmaking technique dates to the 16th century. Each shade is mouth-blown, then acid-etched to diffuse the light, with small differences in the handwork giving individual lamps their own character. Choose Red Stripe, Yellow Stripe, or Blue Stripe; each version has the same proportions and controls.
A touch control underneath the lamp cycles through three brightness levels. The included LED produces warm 2700K light, while the rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides approximately eight to ten hours of operation per charge. A magnetic USB-C charging cable is included; a USB power adapter is required and sold separately. The custom LED module is replaceable, with replacements available through Established & Sons or an authorized dealer.
