Description
A slight turn of the head changes Bubo’s expression. This handmade oak owl has a round, movable head and detachable wings held in place by magnets, allowing you to adjust its gaze and posture. Dark eyes, a pointed beak, and upright ear details stand out against the lighter body, with the wood grain visible across its curved surfaces. Place it beside a stack of books, angle its head toward the room, or raise a wing to give it a different pose.
Danish woodworker Nikolaj Klitgaard made the first Bubo in his grandfather’s workshop in 2013. Produced by ARCHITECTMADE, a Danish company specializing in objects by architects and designers, it brings that interest in woodworking to a small figure for a desk, bookshelf, or bedside table.
Choose Small at 4.92 inches high or Large at 5.59 inches high. Display one on its own or bring the two sizes together, each with a different expression. Each owl is sold individually.
