Description
Five Italian-made blades cover every daily task, from halving a squash to scoring a tomato skin, all housed in a single, quietly refined set.
KnIndustrie asked Coltellerie Berti—knife makers in Scarperia since 1895—to translate their workshop skill into contemporary, 18/10 stainless steel forms. The result is BE-Knife: a chef’s knife, bread knife, paring knife, vegetable knife, and tomato knife, each ground to the geometry that suits its job. Handles and blades flow from one solid piece, so there are no joins to trap moisture, and the satin finish resists staining while giving fingertip traction. Subtle chamfers along the spine ease pinch grips; a slight taper toward the butt lightens the balance for long prep sessions.
Lay the five knives on a magnetic strip or slip them into a drawer insert—the uniform profile lines up cleanly, yet each silhouette is distinct enough to grab on sight. From morning fruit to evening sourdough, the set brings a century of Tuscan craft to every cut, ready to work through years of service and a simple honing routine.
