Description
The Cabbage Cake Stand brings one of Bordallo Pinheiro’s best-known motifs to the dessert table. Its broad top is shaped like overlapping cabbage leaves, complete with raised veins, curled edges, and layers of hand-painted color that emphasize the ceramic relief.
Made in Portugal from earthenware, the stand measures just over 12 inches across, giving it enough room for a full-size cake, tart, pastries, or a pile of fruit. The raised pedestal brings food above the surrounding plates while also making the leaf pattern visible from across the table.
Choose Green for the classic Bordallo Pinheiro cabbage treatment, with deep variations of leafy color, or Pink for a more unexpected version of the same form. Both work equally well for birthday cakes, afternoon pastries, cheeses, or as a serving centerpiece when entertaining.
The cake stand is dishwasher safe and suitable for microwave reheating. Avoid conventional oven use and abrupt temperature changes.
