Description
The Bølling Tray Table in Oiled Fumed Oak is Hans Bølling’s 1963 Danish rolling tray table in a deeper, darker oak finish. Made to order by Brdr. Krüger in Denmark, the table combines a folding wooden H-frame, rolling casters, and two removable trays that can be lifted out for serving or kept in place as a two-tier side table.
The oiled fumed oak frame gives the table more depth than the natural oak, beech, or untreated versions. It is a strong choice for interiors with darker woods, leather seating, stone, black metal, warm neutrals, or richer color palettes. The darker frame also gives the reversible trays more contrast, especially with Stone, Earth, Water, Leaf, Clay, and Base color sets.
Two sizes are available. Small / 50 cm works well as a bedside table, compact side table, tea trolley, or mobile surface beside a lounge chair. Large / 60 cm gives more room for bottles, glassware, books, ceramics, or daily-use objects, making it the stronger option for a bar cart, sofa-side table, or larger serving piece.
The tray sets are the functional center of the design. Laminate trays are reversible, with a different color on each side, allowing the table to shift from neutral to more expressive without changing the frame. The Wood veneer tray option creates the quietest version of this fumed oak listing, keeping the table more material-focused and less color-driven.
Use it as a serving trolley, bar cart, bedside table, side table, or flexible living-room piece. The table ships flat-packed and is made to order. Customers should confirm the selected size, tray set, lead time, cancellation terms, and return policy before ordering.
