The HB Coffee Table is a round Danish coffee table by Hans Bølling for Brdr. Krüger. Part of the HB Collection, it translates the language of Bølling’s 1963 Tray Table into a lower, wider living-room table: no wheels, no removable trays, just a generous circular surface with a quiet tray-like edge and a crafted hardwood base.
The table is designed around simple geometry: a 100 cm round top, soft edges, and a low 37.5 cm height that works well in front of sofas, lounge chairs, and larger seating arrangements. The raised rim gives the tabletop a subtle framed profile, useful for keeping books, cups, bowls, and daily objects visually contained without making the table feel heavy.
Choose Oiled Oak for a lighter Danish wood expression, White-Oiled Maple for a pale and clean look, Oiled Fumed Oak for a deeper brown tone, or Oiled Cherry for a warmer red-brown finish that will develop with age and light. Each finish changes the table’s character significantly, so the choice should be made with the surrounding flooring, sofa fabric, and lighting in mind.
The HB Coffee Table works especially well with the HB Lounge Chair and HB Stool, but it does not need the full collection around it. Its round shape makes it easy to approach from several seats, while the solid hardwood construction gives it enough visual weight for a living room, library, hospitality lounge, or office seating area.
