Description
The Bølling Tray Table in Untreated Beech is Hans Bølling’s 1963 Danish rolling tray table in its lightest, most natural wood expression. Made to order by Brdr. Krüger in Denmark, the table combines a folding wooden H-frame, rolling casters, and two removable trays that can be used for serving or kept in place as a two-tier side table.
Untreated beech gives the frame a pale, clean look with a softer tone than oak and less visual weight than walnut or fumed oak. It is a good choice for light interiors, bedrooms, reading corners, apartments, and rooms where the tray colors should stand out against a quiet wood frame.
Two sizes are available. Small / 50 cm works well as a bedside table, compact side table, tea trolley, or mobile surface beside a lounge chair. Large / 60 cm gives more room for drinks, glassware, books, ceramics, or daily-use objects, making it the better choice for a bar cart, sofa-side table, or larger serving piece.
The tray sets are the functional center of the design. Each laminate tray has a different color on each side, so the table can change character quickly. Base / black + white is the most neutral set. Earth, Stone, Water, Leaf, Clay, Sunny, and Red each add a different color range while keeping the frame fixed in untreated beech.
Because this version uses untreated wood, it should be treated with more care than an oiled or lacquered finish. Wipe spills immediately, avoid excess moisture, and keep harsh cleaners away from the wood frame. The table ships flat-packed and is made to order, so customers should confirm the selected size, tray set, lead time, cancellation terms, and return policy before ordering.
