Created by Sergio Herman, the Surface plates translate the features of Zeeland’s topography and landscapes in a warm, rustic design language. Inspired by the rough textures and earthy hues of coastal, woodland and marsh settings, these stoneware dinner plates boast organic patterns with color differences and specks of light or dark accents. Use the plates for everyday meals or festive dinners – either way, you’ll enjoy their superior functionality as they are oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. Starter plates and bowls from the same series are also available.

Sergio Herman

Sergio Herman (1970) is a Dutch chef, entrepreneur, and designer. Born in the province of Zeeland, the Netherlands, he started his career in his family’s restaurant, Oud Sluis. He received three Michelin stars by 2005 and was named Chef of the Year twice by GaultMillau.
