Designed by Seraina Lareida, the rug references the beauty of Venetian architecture and the relentless advance of water that leaves its mark on the city’s stone buildings. The design recreates a Venetian porch in a graphic pattern that also draws inspiration from Venice’s distinctive colors. Water and stone are delicately reproduced in an intricate design that uses 100% New Zealand wool. Made with a hand -tufting technique, the rug features different patterns that add a tactile feel to the design. Handcrafted in an Italian workshop, each rug is one of a kind and boasts a hexagonal shape.
