Description
Opulent Roman banquets and the rural Tuscan tradition of cooking in wine flasks have provided the source of inspiration for the Shotel Glass Pot for Legumes. Designer Piercarlo Crachi used the shape of ancient glassware as a guide to create this modern glass vessel that provides a convenient way to cook legumes. Not to mention that it also looks gorgeous in any kitchen. Optimized for efficient cooking, the pot features a wide base and a rounded shape, with a capacity of 1.2 L for up to 400 g of legumes.
An included funnel makes filling the pot with pre-soaked beans, lentils, or chickpeas as easy as possible. The stopper is made from eco-friendly, natural cork and features an integrated glass vent that releases steam while cooking. The heat diffuser allows you to use the pot on gas and electric stoves, as it spreads the heat evenly on the bottom of the base. A glass tasting ladle is also included. For best results, always cook the legumes on the lowest heat setting and never exceed the maximum capacity of 400 g or 6 servings.
