Sekiei Doorbell Harmony is a glass door chime made in Japan. A thin metal arm holds several clear quartz-glass chimes, suspended so they can move freely when the door opens. The setup is simple, but the sound is the point.

Quartz glass has a different ring than metal. The tone comes through clean and hangs in the air for a moment before it fades. With multiple chimes, you get a slightly richer sound than a single bell, but it still stays light. It works well on an entry door or any interior door that gets used often, especially if you prefer a doorbell you hear once and then forget about.
