Description
Sekiei Furin is a Japanese wind chime made from clear quartz glass. The main piece is a small circular form suspended on thin cords, with a paper strip below that catches moving air.
When it turns, the sound is light and clean, and it hangs for a moment before fading. Quartz glass has its own ring compared to metal chimes, and that’s the appeal here. It’s audible, but it doesn’t cut through a room.
Traditionally, furin are hung near windows or doors during warmer months. This one works best the same way—by an open window, a balcony door, or anywhere you get a bit of airflow. Made in Japan by Sekiei.
