Description
Nanna Ditzel’s 1955 slatted patio table gets a circular-economy reboot in Mater’s Ocean Lounge Table. The top and stretcher bars are molded from Matek® sheets that blend fishing-net waste and recycled household plastics; subtle specks and a matte finish hint at their former life in the sea. A powder-coated steel frame clips on with visible screws, so the whole piece comes apart for future recycling or quick repairs. Low and wide, it slides easily beside a lounger, offering enough surface for two iced coffees and a paperback. Black feels quietly architectural, Forest Green disappears against foliage, while Burnt Red adds a small exclamation point to neutral decks. Light to move yet sturdy enough for salt-spray evenings, Ocean proves a vintage idea can still set the pace for responsible outdoor design.
