Description

A slim steel frame rises, bends, and loops back on itself, forming a quiet perch that feels at home by the kitchen counter or next to a high table. Danish architect Eva Harlou builds the seat from two very different stories: pressed discs of post-consumer plastic—speckled like terrazzo—or smooth FSC-certified oak that will pick up patina over time. A low, rounded backrest cues you to sit upright without forcing posture, while the open base keeps the stool light enough to move with one hand. Nothing here is ornamental; every curve earns its keep, and every material traces its origin, from recycled packaging to responsibly milled timber. Pull a pair up to a breakfast bar, line a dozen along a café counter, or keep one handy as an extra seat—wherever it lands, the Earth Stool adds an easy lesson in how thoughtful materials can look and feel just as good as they are.
