Jasper Morrison revisits Emeco’s 1940s Navy sofa lineage, slimmed to a lounge chair you can lift with one hand yet pass down for decades.

Each frame is hand-welded and heat-treated in Hanover, PA, then powder-baked at 400 °F for a deep ebony skin that laughs off scratches. Snap-on cushions come in leather, fabric, or Sunbrella Heritage for outdoor decks; COM/COL is welcome with a quick swatch check. When the season changes, unsnap the pads and stash them—velcro and hidden snaps make it a one-minute job.
