Here, Morrison’s 2025 update salutes the 1940s original: each frame is TIG-welded from recycled aluminum, kiln-aged for strength, then hand-brushed before a clear powder coat locks in a soft sheen. Despite its airy look, the sofa meets the same 1,500-lb load standard once set for the U.S. Navy. Choose cushions in leather, wool, or outdoor fabric—or send your own material once we okay a swatch. Discreet snaps let you peel everything off for a sudden downpour or end-of-season storage.
