Description
Antoni de Moragas Gallissà designed the Moragas Table Lamp in 1957 for his own Barcelona office. Its proportions place a broad circular shade above a narrow wooden column, with three bulbs extending radially from the center.
The shade is made from natural cotton ribbon, a material traditionally used in bookbinding. A thread follows its outer edge, creating an asymmetric pattern of light and shadow when the lamp is switched on. Illumination travels through the ribbon and escapes above and below the shade.
Moragas is available with a dark Sapeli wood column or a lighter Natural Oak column. An in-line dimmer is included, while three dimmable E26 LED bulbs must be purchased separately.
