Description
Small round faces, projecting ears, and contrasting wooden collars give Kin’s five figures their individual characters. Norwegian designer Lars Beller Fjetland created these wooden family figurines for Architectmade, the Danish home-accessories company. Walnut, mahogany, and maple bring pale and dark tones to the faces, hair, and bodies, with the grain visible across their rounded surfaces.
The heads tilt and can be exchanged between figures, giving you different ways to arrange the group. Tip one forward, have two figures face each other, or swap their heads to change the combinations. Mom and Dad are the tallest; Girl, Boy, and Baby have shorter bodies with their own proportions and details. A few fit along a bookshelf, while a single figure can keep company with a desk lamp or a stack of paperbacks.
Each character is sold individually, so the gathering can be as small or as extensive as you choose. Select a pair for a housewarming gift, add a figure to mark a new arrival, or build a group that recalls the people closest to you.
