Description
Created in a collaboration between Karimoku and Torafu Architects, the Ki Ki Ki series promotes energy circulation and well-being. The designs take inspiration from nature, recreating the shape of trees. The name of the series captures different meanings of “ki”, which can mean wood, trees, and forest, and also refers to the concept of Qi. This set is also eco-friendly as it’s made with left-over wood from furniture manufacturing. Shaped like different types of trees, the three objects feature beautifully layered wood in alternating colors. To make every one of the Ki Ki Ki massage objects, Karimoku uses a blend of oak, walnut, sapele, cherry and maple plywood. Manufactured in Japan, this set comes in an elegant box, making it perfect as a gift.
