Designed in a collaboration between the furniture brand and Torafu Architects, this wood object recreates the shape of a tree in different types of wood. The word “ki” refers to wood, forest, and Qi energy. Crafted with waste material from furniture manufacturing, the Ki01 object features a combination of oak, maple, cherry, walnut, and sapele plywood in a gorgeous pattern of light and darker hues. Each product is crafted with care in Japan and features a natural oil finish. Packaged in a beautifully designed box, Ki 01 is perfect as a gift.
