With wide, curious eyes and an elongated silhouette, Gisel the Cat has more personality than the average stuffed animal. ADADA gives the familiar plush cat a distinctly graphic look, with long limbs, pointed ears, embroidered paws, and a wonderfully expressive face.
Gisel is made from soft velour jersey with a GOTS-certified fabric composition of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The face and paws are embroidered by hand, eliminating hard plastic details while adding to the character’s handmade appearance. At 17 inches tall, she is large enough for serious cuddling but handsome enough to earn a permanent spot on a bed, bookshelf, or favorite chair.
Like all ADADA characters, Gisel comes with her own elaborate backstory. Born beneath a bougainvillea in Lisbon, she is relentlessly curious, fond of exploring shops and confectioneries, and particularly partial to beautiful dresses. It is a detail that makes Gisel feel less like a generic toy and more like a character children can build stories around.
Designed and developed in France, Gisel is tested to European EN71 and American CPSIA toy-safety standards and is suitable from birth. Choose Black for a sharper, almost illustrated look, or Beige for something softer and more understated.
