The Embeè Pendant Lamp by Karman is a sheep-shaped suspension lamp designed by Edmondo Testaguzza and Matteo Ugolini.
Made from matte resin, Embeè turns a familiar animal form into a small suspended light. The shape is simple: rounded body, soft ears, slim black legs, and a light source tucked underneath. It is playful without becoming cartoonish, which is exactly where the design works best.
The concept comes from the idea of “a voice outside the flock.” The black sheep is used here as a symbol of individuality, not exclusion. In the pendant version, that idea becomes especially clear: one Embeè can hang on its own, or several can be grouped together in white and black to create a loose suspended flock above a table, kitchen island, reception desk, or lounge area.
The integrated LED produces a warm 3000K light with 371 lumens, making this more of an accent or atmospheric pendant than a primary room light. It adds a soft pool of light below the figure while giving the space a memorable object overhead. Available in Matte White or Matte Black, Embeè is designed for indoor dry locations.
