Edmondo Testaguzza was born in Backnang, Germany, in 1964 and founded his studio in 1997. Over the years, he has collaborated with Italian and international companies, with Karman remaining the most consistent thread in his work. His lighting moves across different registers, from the exposed mechanics of Airtek One to the smaller scale of Papiria and the glass- and crystal-based pieces in collections like Smug, Ginger, and Opium. Rather than repeating one signature, Testaguzza works through materials, build, and use, adjusting the language of each object to the job at hand.
